Create Engineering Order Line
This document explains how you create an engineering order (EO) line for an EO head. The EO line includes the service that needs to be performed to complete the modification described in the EO document.
Use this instruction when you have defined an EO head and need to connect a service to it.
Outcome
An EO line containing a service is connected to the EO head.
Uses
The engineering order is used to generate an engineering order program. The engineering order program generates planned work orders for all items affected by the modification.
How the System Is Affected
Information about the engineering order line is stored in the EO line (MOLINE) file.
Before you start
- The starting conditions listed in Defining Engineering Orders must be met.
- An engineering order head must be created in 'Engineering Order. Open' (MOS200).
Follow These Steps
-
Start 'Engineering Order. Open' (MOS200/B).
-
Select an appropriate sorting order to identify the correct engineering order.
The recommended alternatives are 1='EO number', 6=Responsible.
-
Select the appropriate engineering order and select option 11='Engineering Order Lines' to display 'Engineering Order. Open Lines' (MOS210).
-
On panel (MOS210/B), select the product, structure type and service and select 'New Record' to display panel E.
-
Press Enter to finish.
