Hold Work Order

This document explains how you put a work order on hold.

Use this activity when you need to release capacity for other jobs.

Outcome

The job is held and the capacity is released for other jobs. The job does not go into M3 SWB and no material or tools are allocated.

You can use the available capacity for other jobs.

The held status is stored in the (MMOHED) file.

Before you start

The starting conditions listed in Stopping, Delaying and Replanning Work Order Operations must be met.

Follow These Steps

  1. Start 'Work Order. Open' (MOS100) or 'Work Schedule. Open Toolbox' (MOS195).

  2. Select option 'Hold Work Order' to remove the load.
