Mark Estimate as Complete
This document explains how you indicate that a work request is fully estimated. The document also explains how you indicate that the estimate is confirmed by a manager.
Outcome
The work request status is set to 'Estimate confirmed' (Q2). The M3 table Planning proposal (MWOPLP) is updated.
After this, the responsible person at customer support can generate a quotation.
Before You Start
- A fully estimated work request must exist in 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170).
- A view displaying work request status should exist.
Follow These Steps
Set Estimate as Complete

Start 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170/B) or 'Work Request. Open Line' (MOS171/B).

Select a suitable sorting order and view.

Highlight the work request, or operation, for which an estimate has been completed and select option 'Estimate complete' to raise the work order status to Q1 (Estimate complete).
The status of the work request is set to Q1 when the status of all operations has reached Q1.
Confirm the Estimate
This procedure will normally be performed by a supervisor or an engineer after reviewing the estimated work.

Start 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170/B).

Select a suitable sorting order and view.

Highlight the work request for which estimation is to be confirmed and select option 'Estimate confirmed' to raise the work order status to Q2 (Estimate confirmed).
