Update Work Request Status from Planned Work Schedule
This document explains how you manually change the status of a work request from the planned work schedule.
Use this instruction when you want to indicate that the work request has reached a certain stage in its planning.
Outcome
The work request status is changed to indicate that a new step should be taken in the planning process.
The work request status is stored in the (MWOPLP) file.
The request status can be used to indicate, for example, that the request is ready to be released to a work order. It can also be used to indicate that further planning or authorization is required.
Before you start
The starting conditions listed in Updating Work Request Status must be met.
Follow these steps

Start 'Request Schedule. Open' (MOS137/B).

Select an appropriate sorting order to identify the appropriate work request.

Select the work request you want to change the status of and select option 10='Change Work Request' to display 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170/G).

Change the status to the new value and press Enter to finish.
Status setting can vary depending on different company policies. It is possible to use the statuses for different types of work request authorization.
