Assignment Statuses
Abstract
This process should be followed when assigning statuses to field order assignments.
You can view the assignment statuses on the operation element in 'WO Operation. Open Operation Element' (MOS104) and make selections on assignment statuses in 'Maintenance Scheduling Board. Open' (MOS199). Each time the assignment statuses are changed, a log record is written in 'Event Log' (MOS102).
Background
The assignment status is a part of M3 work orders, and the field information is updated on the operation element during the processing of a field order to monitor the progress of the work. This was formerly called 'mobility status', but is now called 'assignment status'.
Workflow
Assignment statuses monitor the progress of the field order as follows:
- 10=Declined by employee
- 19=To be reallocated
- 20=Assignment assigned to employee
- 21=Temporary reallocation status
- 25=Sent to device
- 30=Queued for dispatch
- 31=On the technician’s device
- 40=Accepted by employee
- 41=Travel started
- 42=Travel stopped
- 44=Arrived on site
- 45=Operation started
- 46=Stopped/Pending
- 80=Stopped/Run disturbance
- 89=Finished
- 90=Complete
The statuses 20, 21, and 25 are set by M3 BE when you assign the assignment to an employee or technician using function program CBEMPSEL (Capability Selection). The other statuses are set by the mobility application using MOS104MI (List Operation Elements), transaction ChgOpElement. See the Outcome section.
Outcome
Assignment statuses are updated from M3 BE when you first assign the assignment to an employee or technician, and then later by the mobility application using MOS104MI by Trans.
The outcome is an updated status so the progress of the work can be followed in (MOS199). Each time the assignment statuses are changed, a log record is written in (MOS102).
You can view below the event that is triggered by the mobility application in the column 'Triggered by status update'. The other events are triggered by other events in the process.
