Release Maintenance Customer Order Line

This document explains how you release a maintenance customer order (MCO) line to create a planned work order.

Outcome

A planned work order is created in (MOS170). The MCO line status is raised to '30', indicating that the order is being processed.

These tables are affected:

  • Maintenance planning proposal (MWOPLP)
  • Work order operation proposal (MMPOPE)
  • Planned work order materials (MMPMAT)
  • Detailed load (MCPSPE)
  • Capacity/load per resource and week (MCPSUM)
  • Planning overview (MITPLO)
  • Allocated persons (MCPAPE).

The planned work order can be included in the resource planning and then released to become a work order in (MOS100).

Before you start

'Maintenance Customer Orders. Open Line' (COS101) must contain the MCO line.

Follow these steps

  1. Start 'Maintenance Customer Orders. Open Line' (COS101/B).

    Access this program by selecting related option 11='MCO Lines' in 'Maintenance CO. Open Toolbox' (COS280) or 'Maintenance Customer Orders. Open' (COS100).

  2. Select the MCO line to release and select related option 13='Create Work Request/WO'.
