Define an Agreement-specific Price per Work Center
This document explains how you define a work center price for a specific maintenance agreement. You do this when you want to give a customer a different price than the standard work center price.
Do this to make sure the customer is correctly invoiced for man and machine hours reported on a service connected to the agreement.
If you do not define a price for a specific maintenance agreement, the sales price for man and machine hours is taken from the general price specified for a work center.
Outcome
A specific work center price is defined and connected to a maintenance agreement. The file with information about work center prices (ACUAGW) is updated.
The specified work center priced are used when you report the time used for a service in 'Work Order Operation. Report' (MOS070).
Before you start
- The starting conditions listed in Defining new Defining new Maintenance Agreements and Adjusting Existing Agreements must be met.
- A maintenance agreement must be defined in 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410).
Follow These Steps
-
Start 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410/B).
-
Select an appropriate sorting order to identify the correct agreement.
The recommended alternatives are 1 = Agreement, 2 = 'Agreement type'.
-
On the B-panel, select the agreement for which you wish to define a work center price and select option 14 = 'Work Center Prices' to display 'Maintenance Agreement. Connect Work Center Prices' (COS414).
-
On the B-panel, select a predefined work center and specify the date from which the price should apply.
-
If applicable, specify a product structure, a product and a service. Select 'New record' to display the E-panel.
-
On the E-panel, specify a man-hour price, a machine-hour price or a margin. Press Enter.
Only one of these fields should be entered. If both are entered the charge on the customer invoice could be doubled.
If a margin is specified, the price will be based on the work center cost, regardless of what you have specified in the other fields.
-
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have defined work center prices for all work centers in question.
