Update Maintenance Statistics
This document explains how you regenerate the maintenance statistics for a range of work orders. The document also explains how you can create report versions
Outcome
Statistical information is created for selected work orders. Report versions with specific statistics runs may be defined and saved.
The information can be viewed and printed for further analyses. Any created report versions may be reused.
These files are updated with the new statistics:
- Work order operation statistics (MBCOPE)
- Work order operation statistics - per period (MBCOPA)
- Work order material statistics (MBCMAT)
- Work order material statistics - per period (MBCMAA)
- Work order header statistics (MBCHED)
- Work order header statistics - per period (MBCHEA)
- Work order work center statistics (MBCWCT)
- Maintenance cost - per period (MBCFGL)
- Maintenance inquiry (MMCINQ)
- Product calculation selected products (MMO300)
- Actual costing file (MAHEAD)
- Actual costing component aggregated (MACOMA)
- Actual costing component this level (MACOML)
- Stock transactions detailed (MITTRA)
Before you start
The starting conditions listed in Monitoring Maintenance Statistics must be met.
Follow these steps
Select one of these alternatives:
Update the statistics with all new work orders (recommended)

Start (MCS300/E) and press Enter to run the statistics.
The statistics run will include all new orders since the last run. Only orders with at least status 90 will be included.
Define and adjust an existing report version

Start (MCS300/B) and set panel sequence E.

Open an existing report version or specify an identity for the report version and select New to display the E panel.

Specify the selection criteria in the From and To fields.
A number of selection criteria can be used. Among these are facility, warehouse, product number, WO number, and reference order number.

Press Enter to save.
Use a saved report version

Start (MCS300/B).

Highlight a report version from the list and select option 9=Run to update the statistics.
