Create Resource Plan

This procedure is used to create a resource plan using previously entered activities. Since each activity requires a number of resources, the resource plan contains the type and quantity of resources needed.

Planned activities entered for a budget officer, budget number and budget version are converted into a resource plan after using this procedure.

Before you start

  • All prerequisites specified in Activity-Based Budgeting must be met.
  • Activities must be entered per budget officer. Refer to Enter Activity for Budget Officer.
  • Resources must be entered per activity, indicating the number of resources required to carry out the activity. This is done in 'Budget Activity. Connect Budg Resources' (BUS011), which is reached by using option 11='Conn resources' in 'Budget Activity. Open' (BUS010).
  • The decentralized budget that is to be converted to a resource plan must have general status 0='Not transferred to a resource plan' and work status 0='Not blocked'.

Follow these steps

  1. Start 'Budget. Connect Budget Activity' (BUS160/B).

  2. Select option 9='Transfer' for the budget to create a resource plan.

  3. On the G panel, confirm the conversion by pressing Enter.
