Account Supplementation
Account supplementation is a function that enables the user to enter additional accounting identities for the cash account used when recording customer/supplier invoices and payments in the sub-ledgers.
The accounting identities thus entered in the accounting string affect only the voucher created, not the transactions included in the voucher.
The function is activated by selecting the ‘Account supplementation’ check box in the detail record for the FAM function used. An extra accounting string is then displayed at entry.
Note: If the ‘Account addition’ check box is selected in 'Settings – General Ledger' (CRS750/E), the account addition specified in ‘Account Addition Table. Open’ (GLS020) will overrule the account supplementation.
