Create Bank Quotas for Automatic Allocation of Supplier Payments to Bank
This document explains how you pre-define to which banks and bank accounts specific supplier payments should be remitted when creating a payment proposal in 'Payment Proposal. Open' (APS130).
You do this by creating one or several bank quota keys to apply to each type of payment you wish to include in the routine. The keys then function as a filter for identifying and automatically allocating payments to the desired bank.
Outcome
Refer to Using Bank Quotas for Automatic Allocation of Supplier Payments to Bank.

Parameters to Set
Program ID/ Panel | Field | The field indicates … |

Bank Quota Keys | ||
(APS030/B) | Year |
… the year for which the quota key is valid (required). You can define several tables in (APS030). Only the table matching payment proposal date is selected. Which table to use in (APS030) is determined by this search path: 1) year, 2) month, 3) currency, and 4) payment method. If a table with all these four values does not exist, a table with the first three is selected, et cetera. |
(APS030/B) | Month |
… the months for which the quota key is valid (optional). By entering a month you can limit the valid period for a table. Using such a temporary quota key is convenient when you have payments you wish to process in a different way. |
(APS030/B) | Payment method |
… the required payment method for the supplier invoices (optional). Only invoices with this payment method will be considered when allocating to bank. |
(APS030/B) | Currency |
… the required payment currency of the supplier invoices. The currency is required information if you wish to define the quota as a fixed amount. If you leave the Currency field blank, you can only enter a quota percentage on the E panel. |
(APS030/B) | Priority |
… in which order the allocation should be done (required). The table must always have a quota key with priority 1. This key should have a larger amount or percentage then keys less prioritized. The following quota keys do not have to be in strict ascending order. Consequently, the quota keys in your table can have priority 1, 2, 4, and 7, for example. This allows you to delete separate quota keys without having to redefine the priorities in the entire table. |

(APS030/E) | Quota percentage | … the maximum share, defined as a percentage of the total payment amount, that should be allocated to this bank account. |
(APS030/E) | Used quota amount |
… the accumulated amount from all proposals created within the validity year or month that has been allocated by using a specific quota key. This output field is only displayed if a quota amount is selected for the key. |
