GL Transaction Details

General Ledger (GL) Transaction Details is an M3 Experience Designer application that provides a simpler, modern way to display transaction details. It consolidates information from all sources that store general ledger data for the specific line. The application includes information such as accounting strings, currencies, amounts, additional details, reconciliation data, and VAT reporting information.

Application authorization

To access and run the Experience Designer application, you must be authorized to the M3 Business Engine functions and API transactions used by the application.

Limitations

The GL Transaction Details application depends on input from other applications.

How to use the application

Open the application

The application head receives input from the calling applications, which populates the head. The other forms use this input.

Details of transaction

The forms in the GL Transaction Details application display different types of transaction details and are split into three tabs:

The Line Details tab contains accounting and reconciliation information for the transaction.
The Additional Values tab contains information about the transaction’s origin and any associated traceability data.
The VAT Reporting Details tab contains all VAT‑related information for the transaction.
