Working with the EQM Product Support Detail panel

Note: This section describes how you can use EQM Product Support when accessing the application from M3 Customer LifeCycle Management.

To work with EQM Product Support Detail in M3 Equipment Quotation Management, complete these steps:

  1. To create a quotation, in M3 Customer LifeCycle Management, select Quotation > Create Product Support Quote.
    After the quote has been created in M3 Customer LifeCycle Management, the EQM Product Support Detail panel in M3 Equipment Quotation Management opens with the quotation header automatically created.
  2. To create a product support quotation line, on the Search and Create tab, add quotation lines for the parts, service, maintenance agreement, and warranty.
    Note: To create a quotation line from any of these panels, click New quotation line. You can also create quotation lines from the EQM Product Support Detail panel.

    After the quotation line has been created, the quotation details are displayed on the Quotation tab in M3 Equipment Quotation Management. The original prices for the quotation lines are taken from the standard and service price lists specified in Infor M3 Business Engine.

    After the quotation line has been created, the opportunity value in M3 Customer LifeCycle Management is updated and the quotation can be sent to the customer.

    Note: You can create several quotations for an opportunity.

    After the customer has accepted the quotation, the quotation is converted to an order in Infor M3 Business Engine and listed on the Fulfillment tab.
