Infor M3 Equipment Quotation Management (EQM) is a solution that is designed for creating quotations for the sale of complex equipment and related services. M3 Equipment Quotation Management also includes a configurator, which is designed to simplify the selection of attributes associated with complex equipment. The rental and aftermarket sale of parts and services are supported by M3 Equipment Quotation Management.
Overview of M3 Equipment Quotation Management
M3 Equipment Quotation Management is designed to bring together resources, from across the organization, to complete these tasks:

- Manage the quotation process from initiation to the final delivery of the equipment

Infor M3 Equipment Quotation Management is usually supported by back-office or administration staff who maintain basic tables. Basic tables contain information such as equipment, service, and maintenance agreements. The back-office or administration staff generally also manages template information within M3 Equipment Quotation Management. Template information is designed to simplify the quotation process for salespersons by providing them with preapproved and filtered information. For example, templates may be a list of service records for commissioning the equipment or approved promotions.
