Quotation permissions
To manage user permissions in 'Settings - Quotation Permissions' (QUS155), you can perform these tasks:
- Define whether the cost and the cost margin are displayed or changeable for the user in all M3 Equipment Quotation Management functions
- Control the line types that the user is allowed to add
- Control whether a user is allowed to directly create an order from a quotation, without any approval step
Note: The cost price field is always visible for Extended Catalog Item
(ECI), regardless of the settings. This is because the input to the ECI is often the planned
purchase price of the item. The selling price is then calculated based on it.
You can authorize the user to use these options:
- Product (sales lines)
- Items (spare parts)
- Warranty (extended)
- Configuration service
- Commissioning service
- Maintenance agreement
- Financing
- Promotion
- Miscellaneous costs
- Trade-in
