Equipment panel

In the EQM mashup, select Equipment in the menu on the left side. In this panel, you can access two key features:

  • On the Search and Connect tab, you can search for equipment to include in the quotation.
  • On the Select and Configure tab, you can use the Configurator feature and create or modify an equipment configuration.

Search and Connect tab

On this tab, you can specify a wide range of selection criteria to find the correct equipment for different purposes:

  • You can include the selected equipment in a quotation.
  • You can create a quotation based on the selected equipment.

You can decide the types of records to display:

  • On-hand equipment, that is, equipment already in stock
  • Purchase order equipment, that is, equipment already ordered from the OEM
  • Customer order equipment, that is, equipment on a sales order
  • Item or warehouse for which only basic information exists
  • Rental equipment, that is, equipment classified as rental equipment

You can select records based on these selection criteria:

Attribute ID Five attributes identifiers, with a range of identifiers as selection criteria
PO number

You can complete these tasks:

  • You can create a quotation.
  • From an existing quotation, you can create a quotation line.

Subtabs provide information on the equipment configuration, the equipment basic details, including meter values and price. This table shows the available subtabs:

Attributes

You can view the attribute details of the selected equipment.

You can activate the Configurator feature to review the configuration in detail or to reconfigure equipment if it is connected to a quotation.
Equipment You can view information from different sources:
  • Basic information from 'Equipment/Serialized Item. Open' (MMS240)
  • Price information from 'Equipment Price. Open' (MOS278)
  • Meter readings from 'Equipment/Ser Item. Open Meter Reading' (MMS241)
Text You can view the text blocks from the equipment defined in (MMS240) or from the purchase order line.
