Equipment trade-in details
To capture extended trade-in details, select Ext trade-in check box in 'Settings - Quotations' (CRS732). If you select the box, the E panel is discarded and you can add extended details that cover basic equipment information and additional financial input values to panel F and G in 'Quotation. Open Trade-in' (QUS110).
You can capture information regarding the condition and specification of a serialized equipment. This can be part of the initial registration of a trade-in on a quote or standalone on a serial number level. The information supports the determination of the potential trade-in value and the cost involved in bringing it back into good condition. The condition and specification information is copied from a trade-in quotation line (QUS110) to a serial number record in 'Equipment/Serialized Item. Open' (MMS240) upon release to order. This supports the reuse of the defined data without manual intervention.
'Attribute Model Table. Open' (ATS070) and 'Attribute Model Selection Table. Open' (ATS071) use a generic control table to control which attribute model from 'Attribute Model. Open' (ATS050) is retrieved to represent a condition list and a specification list.
Use the parameters 'Condition table' and 'Specif table' in 'Settings - Quotations' (CRS732) to set the default value for the attribute model ID (ATS070) set in 'Quotation. Open' (QUS100/F).
In 'Quotation. Open Trade-in' (QUS110/F), actions 'Condition' and 'Specification' are used to call 'Conditions Report. Open' (ATS103) and 'Specification Report. Open' (ATS104). These actions use the attribute model table ID defined on the quotation header to show the applicable attributes.
You can access the condition and specification lists through related options in 'Quotation. Open Lines' (QUS101), 'Equipment. Search and Connect' (QUS200), 'Work Request. Open' (MOS170), 'Work Order. Open' (MOS100) and 'Balance Identity. Open Toolbox' (MWS068).
