Copying a quotation to a new version

You can copy a quotation to a new version or a totally new quotation number.

When you copy a quotation to a new version, the status of the previous version is automatically set to Inactive (99). If you copy a quotation to a new quotation number, then the original is not affected.

Creating a new quotation version is similar to copying a quotation. The main difference is that the new version retains the same quotation number, but with a new version number. The original quotation remains as is and a separate quotation is created with a new quotation number. During the copy, you can select the information to copy.
