Quotation status update

The batch program ‘Quotation Status. Update’ (QUS920) is used to check each quotation to evaluate whether it is reaching the end of its valid date range. If so, application messages are issued and can be viewed in ‘Application Message. Open' (CRS420). See Application messages.

Messages can be sent before the actual expiry date of the quotation. These messages can be useful to provide extra time to follow up the quotation. In this case, the quotation status is set to Expired (95). To control the number of days before expiry for each quotation order type, use the Days pr expire field in ‘Quotation Type. Open’ (QUS020).
