Define Ad Hoc Document Location

The ad hoc report document location is the path where a generated document, such as PDF or Excel file, is to be placed on the StreamServe server. The ad hoc report document location path is only included in the generated XML file as information. How it is used depends on the application used for generating the document.

The document location created in 'Ad Hoc Document Location. Open' (AHS020) can be used in 'Ad Hoc Report. Open' (AHS110) and 'Ad Hoc Report. Print' (AHS150).

Parameters to set

FIeld The field indicates...
Doc loc method ...how the document location is generated.
Alternatives:
  • 1 = Location path
  • 2 = Location path and current user
Doc loc path ...the document location path. Specify either an absolute path or a relative path based on the server application folder.
