MRP calculation - MMS911 and RPS911
The auto start job 'Planning Overview' (MMS911) monitors the planning calculation control table (MITPCC), and performs the MRP calculations for continuous net change enabled items (see parameter on (MMS002/E)). It is not possible to set up more than one instance of (MMS911) in 'Subsystem Job. Open' (MNS051).
If the auto start job 'Continuous net change IMQ' (RPS911) is active, it enables faster MRP calculation processing for items with continuous net change, while ensuring that items are still calculated in the correct low-level code order. (RPS911) is an IMQ auto start job that automatically starts additional consumer instances when workload increases.
(RPS911) will only work if the auto start job (MMS911) is active.
The diagram below shows the principle for how the MRP auto start job works but is not exhaustive. Details on the MRP calculation and its inputs and outputs are not described here. See Material Planning for more information.
