Generate standard

To generate a standard configuration for printer files and basic data programs, select function key F14='Gen standard'. The N panel is displayed.

Printer files

Select the check box to generate standard configuration for all printer files.

Check box must be blank if the field printer file is selected.

Printer file

Indicates if standard configuration should be generated for a specific printer file. Must be blank if field printer files are selected.

List programs

Select the check box to generate standard configuration for all List programs.

List program

Indicates if standard configuration should be generated for a specific List program. This must be blank if field List programs are selected.

Basic data for Output Management

Select the check box to generate standard basic data for output management. Note that this data is shared between all companies. These programs are updated:

'Output Service Type. Open' (MNS217) is updated with service type M3_XML, interface is set to XML. Only a new record is added, any existing record remains unchanged.
'Output Service Type. Connect Media' (MNS214) is updated with service types M3_XML connected to Media MAIL, PRT, and ARCHIVE. Only new records are added, any existing records are not changed.
'Document Type. Open' (MNS060) is updated with the document types below. Only new records are added; any existing records remain unchanged.

'Output Service. Open' (MNS216) is updated with three service IDs which are categorized into two different communication types.

Communication type 3 - IDM Output Management, Single Interface for M3_IDM_XML and M3_IDM_CSV service IDs.
- Description is set to IDM Output Management.
- Service type is set to M3_XML (for service ID M3_IDM_XML).
- Service type is set to M3_CSV (for service ID M3_IDM_CSV).
- Priority 1 is set to M3_DEF.
- Priority 2 is set to M3_TEMPLATE_DEF.
Communication type 6 - IDM Output Management, Double Interface for M3_IDM_COM.
- Description is set to IDM Output Management.
- No service type is defined.
- Interface XML and Interface CSV are created. At least one of the Priority has a value for the Interfaces:
  - Priority 1 is set to M3_DEF.
  - Priority 2 is set to M3_TEMPLATE_DEF.
Only a new record is added; any existing records remain unchanged.

Output selection based on user

Select the check box to generate standard output selection data based on user.

'Output Service Selection. Open' (MNS204) is updated with a record for 'Blank Printer file' and 'Blank User'. Service ID is set to M3_IDM. Only new records are added; any existing records are never changed.

Note: Records are created for all divisions in the current company.

Update to standard for printer files

Select the check box to update all standard fields for existing printer files in (CMS005). Update is only done for standard structure and retains customization of printer files.
