Default values for issue lines

'Issue Management Reason Code. Set Default Values' (IMS025) is used to define default values for an issue line when created based on initial reason code, outside of the fixed business logic.

An issue line retrieves default values in this priority:
  1. From reason code default values (IMS025)
  2. From issue header (IMS100)
    • Priority
    • Responsible
  3. From reason code (IMS020)
    • Description
    • Name
  4. From reference order line
    • Customer number (only for order category 301 Customer return and 311 Customer order)
    • Supplier number (only for order category 251 Purchase order)
    • Facility
    • Warehouse
    • Item number
    • Lot number
    • Quantity
    • Unit of measure
    • Alias type (only for order category 311 Customer order)
    • Alias qualifier (only for order category 311 Customer order)
    • Alias number (only for order category 311 Customer order)

Example:

To have the responsible for an item-warehouse as initial issue line responsible, you can add the field 'IMRS' for issue responsible as a dynamic value, and refer to item-warehouse responsible by referring to the table MITABL and the external field 'MBRESP'.
