Database Transfer

The Database Transfer component allows interaction between the system and M3 BE.

Import

These main data types are imported from M3 BE:
  • Orders
  • Capacity data
  • Material data and item information
Note: The Import All Orders function has an option called Use single select for distribution orders, which improves performance by using one API call, instead of three API calls, to create the order header, operation, and order demand.

Export plan

This information is exported by M3 SWB:
  • Export orders
  • Export capacity changes
  • Export external supplies
  • Export pre-allocations
  • Export structure links
  • Update user-defined lines on external requirements
  • Update user-defined lines on external supplies

Decisions and actions are exported by M3 SWB.
