Add extra local operations in SWB
SWB plan operations are defined in the BE product structure. If customers want to plan or display more operations, elements, or resources in SWB without changing the product structure in BE, they can create extra local parallel operations in SWB. These operations are not exported to BE.
To enable this feature, go to and select Local parallel operations.
A new SWB component for Local Parallel Operations becomes available in Resource capacity modelling under Components.
Create the records that define how to create extra local parallel operations based on the work center from the primary operation. Use another field filter if different orders require different types of local parallel operations.
Note: Internal capacity data must be recreated for local parallel
operations to take effect during order import.
These are your options:
- Run Initialize plan two times (best option if it does not take too long).
- Manually run Update Internally Capacity Model in Resource Capacity Modelling under Components.
