Manual change plan
SWB creates the plan as described in Planning Principles. Sometimes, the planner wants to overrule and decide the sequence manually. Manually changing the sequence of operations requires that you must have or get the sequence status 15 or 17, where SWB keeps locked sequenced operations. The operations in sequence status 10 are planned freely, and manual sequence decisions are not kept after the next simulation.
To manually change the sequence, there are three main methods:
- Schedule Report
- Scheduling Board (Click and drop)
- Scheduling Board (Manual scheduling).
Schedule Report
The Schedule Report must have as the first sorting option for operations to ensure that the operations are sorted according to the sequence in which they are planned on the resource. If you manually change the value of the resource sequence, the report is updated accordingly.
If the Schedule Report has been setup to sort operations based on . You can manually change the sequence by updating the value of , which automatically changes the sorting order in the Schedule Report. To calculate the consequences, you must perform a simulation that keeps the operation sequence sorted based on , .
