Panel modifications

For panel modifications, the standard solution is to use the internal configuration. If the internal configuration is not enough, you can use the customer modification of panels. You must do this as an integral part of a well thought-out implementation strategy. The changes to the standard system must be as conservative and as well documented as possible.

To create panel modifications, follow these steps:

1. Click System > System Information > Panel Files.
2. Right-click the panel file that you need to modify and select Edit custom to display the editor with the panel file.
3. Specify the modifications.
4. Click File > Save to save the customer panel file.

   On your next server log on, the modified panel file is used.

Panels in SWB are controlled by panel files, which you can edit in a text editor. Press Alt + Shift keys to display the panel file and panel number in the lower left corner of the screen. The panel name and panel number are used to identify which panel file and panel number to modify.
