Extraction of data and production plans during download

The production plans of M3 SWB can be extracted from the downloading process and saved in a separate data file. You can choose the type of record or the type of orders and time horizons you want to extract. To specify the layout of different record types use the separation character (;). Some fields are mandatory, while others are voluntary.

It can also be beneficial to extract a total production because some of the order data downloaded into M3 SWB can function as backup data with potential to re-establish the order database (and all the check functions) if necessary.

You can also choose to download external data such as resource or work center data into M3 SWB files. Configure an input panel that controls how input record information is mapped while being downloaded into M3 SWB's local database files.

Because all report and panel information is saved directly into a spool file, you can check the results of the download procedure. The panels are laid out in the same way as they are in the panel screens. Spool files are in ASCII file format, which makes it easier to transfer to other systems, such as the central system, spreadsheets or other computer workstations.
