Configuring SWB to use OAuth2 credentials for ION API

  1. Run SWB.
  2. Click System.
  3. Click Parameters.
  4. Select Database.
  5. Select ION API JSON text, then click Paste ION API JSON text from clipboard to paste the content from the ION API file.
  6. Optionally, select ION API, then click Create new ION API file using copy and paste into editor, then paste the content from the ION API file.
    Click Save, then click Exit.
  7. Optionally, select ION API, then click Browse to select the file received from Tenant Administrator.
  8. Click Test logon.
    A message is displayed that the test logon succeeded.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Verify the information displayed:
    • M3 BE user
      Note: Each user must be linked to their own M3 BE user. Export is handled on user level and user must never be linked to the same M3 BE user.
    • Tenant ID
    • Horizon for selection of orders
    • Division
      Note: If Division is followed by an exclamation mark, then the calendar in (CRS900) is not defined in Horizon for section of orders. You can extend the division calendar or reduce the horizon for selection of orders until the exclamation mark is no longer displayed.
  11. Click OK.
  12. Exit SWB.
