Setting up multiple environments on a single server

The standard approach for setting up multiple environments is to install the Report Manager application on separate application servers. The advantage is that the environments are independent. When an upgrade is needed, the upgrade of the software can be tested in the test environment before it is installed on the production environment. Having separate application servers also simplifies the installation, because the installation process is duplicated on the separate environments. The disadvantage is that you have two environments to maintain.

There are several steps that must be performed to set up a production environment (PROD) and a test environment (TEST) on a single server.
