Updating the installation

To update the installation, you must stop the services and application pools, run the upgrade setup file, and perform some post-installation tasks.

Before you update the installation, you must perform these tasks:

• Verify that the installed .NET versions comply with the prerequisites on the Installation overview and Pre-installation.

• Verify that you have uninstalled Java 1.6, if existing. No other application with Java 1.6 dependency should be installed on the server.

• Verify installation of Java 1.8.
