Supported SQL Server software for database servers
These versions of SQL Server are supported:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016
- Microsoft SQL Server 2014
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition
- Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition, or Datacenter Edition
- Microsoft SQL 2008 Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition, with Service Pack 3
In a production environment, we recommend that you install the latest cumulative update for the version of SQL Server that you are using.
