Automatic Functions 2

This table shows the additional functions in Automatic Functions 2:

Automatic function	Description
Accumulate order links with same parent order and sequence number	Flow order combined with batch synchronization is not handled correctly in PMS100MI/SelMatByHead where material lines are not aggregated. In this case, run this automatic function to do the necessary accumulation.
Change items	Change item type for selected items based on item filter.
Convert file encoding	Convert file encoding. Text files in ANSI format can be converted to or from UTF8 format.
Copy data files	Copy data files. Select from and to file by the letters 3:6 in the file name. The initials PM is inserted in front of the file name. The version number and the extension .DAT is appended at the end of the file name. The file copied must be in the data directory and the destination file is written in the data directory. It is validated that the from or to file is not an SWB register or index file.
Copy fields from primary to secondary operations	Copy fields from primary operations to secondary operations selected by operation field filter for primary operations and operation field filter for secondary operations.
Copy fields from secondary to primary operations	Copy fields from secondary operations to primary operations selected by operation field filter for primary operations and operation field filter for secondary operations.
Mark items for material synchronization	Select or clear items selected by item field filter.
Propagate earliest order due date	Propagate due date from end-item manufacturing order down through order network. This function disregards links to customer orders in the external demand register.
