Configuring PWB to use OAuth2 credentials for ION API

  1. Run PWB.
  2. Select System > Parameters > Database.
  3. In Web Service, select ION API JSON text then click Paste ION API JSON text from clipboard to paste the content from the ION API file.
    You can also select ION API to paste the content from the ION API file.
    1. Click Create new ION API file using copy and paste into editor.
    2. Paste the content from the ION API file.
    3. Click Save.
    4. Click Exit.
  4. Optionally, select ION API then click Browse to select the file received from the Tenant Administrator.
  5. Click Test logon.
    A message is displayed that the test logon is successful..
  6. Click OK.
  7. Verify if the information displayed is correct.
    M3 BE user
    You must link your own M3 BE user account because the export is handled on a user level. You must never link to a similar M3 BE user account.
    Tenant ID
    Check the Tenant ID.
    Horizon for selection of orders
    You can set this to 120 or adjust it to a higher or lower number.
    Division
    If Division is followed by an exclamation mark, the calendar in (CRS900) is not defined in Horizon for section of orders. You can extend the division calendar or reduce the horizon for selection of orders until the exclamation mark is no longer displayed.
    Note: If the One or more errors occurred error message is displayed, the REST API connection is not configured correctly. You can test the REST API connection using the INSOMNIA tool.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Exit PWB.
