Internal Configuration

These are the existing internal configuration options that are used to avoid modifications:

Options Descriptions

Environment variables

File transfer. This enables the text file data transfer component in Components > Database Transfer.

Local order generation. This enables the generation of orders locally in the application.

Note: These orders only exist locally. If exported, these orders will not exist outside the application.

Local parallel operations. This enables the component in Components > Resource Capacity Modeling. During the import of operations, you can setup the logic to generate extra local operations. You can use a tool resource needed for production, a setup resource needed during setup, and so on.

ODBC transfer. This enables the ODBC data transfer component in Components > Database Transfer.

Plant maintenance. This enables the importing and planning of plant maintenance orders.

Industry. The industry selection controls the conditions in the parameter file.

Allow negative quantity on times

You can access this option in System > Parameters > Material Control. If Yes is selected, the material profile will always start at the current stock level, even if it is negative. If No is selected, the material profile will always start at zero if the current stock level is negative.
Use on hand approved quantity as stock You can access this option in Database Transfer > Import items. If Yes is selected, the item stock value is taken from STQT (Approved on-hand balance) in the API transaction MMS080MI/SelItemWarehous. If No is selected, the item stock value is taken from AV01 (Allocatable net) in the API transaction MMS080MI/SelItemWarehous.

The reports are designed with user configuration of columns, customer field coloring, grouping, buckets, and connected workflows. You can use the flexible internal configuration instead of panel modifications.

These are the most flexible reports:

  • Schedule Report
  • Orders Report
  • Utilization
  • Capacity Workbench
  • Material Workbench
