Modifications

PWB is delivered without modifications. The recommended configuration is to only use the internal configuration and avoid the parameter file and panel modifications.

• Modifications are customer or project modifications.
• Impact patches affect modifications. Customers or projects must handle modifications in relation to impact patches.
• You must test and report issues with the standard solution.

Modifications add complexity to a solution. Therefore, you must avoid modifications if possible. PWB is designed as a flexible solution, and new functionality is continuously added to allow internal configuration. If modifications are necessary for a customer, we recommend creating an Enhancement Request (ERS) that describes why and how the modification was created. The ERS is then used as an input for future development to allow more internal configuration and remove the need for modifications.
