Keyboard shortcuts

During the administration of the content in M3 Portals, you often switch between the active function and the administration functions like menu.

This table shows the shortcuts that can be used to navigate to the administration pages for a portlet:


Feature	Short cut	Description
Menu configuration	Ctrl + double-click	In the active function, place the mouse pointer over the list caption or one of the field captions, and use the shortcut to open the menu configuration page for the portlet.
Portlet configuration	Shift + double-click	In the active function, place the mouse pointer over the list caption or one of the field captions, and use the shortcut to open the portlet configuration page for the portlet.
Configuration selection window	Ctrl + Shift + double-click	In the active function, place the mouse pointer over the list caption or one of the field captions, and use the shortcut to open the configuration selection window. There are two selections: Show in menu and Show configuration. The window also shows the node ID of the portlet and the name of the portlet configuration.
