Defining external entities

Note: To perform these steps, the tenant must be enabled for the External Entity feature and the user must have the IFS-ExternalEntityAdmin role.
  1. In Infor OS, select User Menu Control > External Entity Management.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Click Create External Entity without a profile and specify the required information.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click External Authorized Components and Applications.
  6. Click +.
  7. Select Partner, Portal, and Self-Management.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select Edit on the External Entity (Edit icon is displayed when hovering the mouse in the bottom of the External Entity).
  10. Select External Authorized Components and Applications.
  11. Click +.
  12. Select Partner.
  13. Specify the Logical ID: lid://infor.m3portals.m3portals and the Application Name: M3 Portals.
  14. Click ADD or ADD & CLOSE.
    Note: The Application Redirect URL displayed when editing the External Entity is the URL to be used by the external user when accessing M3 Portals.
