Assign IFS roles

A prerequisite for user administration in M3 Portals is to assign IFS roles for users of M3 Portals.

This table lists the available roles in IFS for internal users of M3 Portals:

IFS role Description
M3PORTALS-Admin-Site Required for administration of:
  • System
  • Site configuration
  • Content connectors
M3PORTALS-Admin-Certified Required for administration of:
  • Menu
  • Portlet configurations
  • Users
M3PORTALS-Admin-Customer Limited version of M3PORTALS-Admin-Certified. Only view possibilities within portlet configuration and menu administration.
M3PORTALS-User-EquipmentPortal Required to run functions. Gives access to generic functions and equipment portal functions.
M3PORTALS-User-IssueManagement Required to run functions. Gives access to generic functions and issue management functions.
M3PORTALS-User-SupplierPortal Required to run functions. Gives access to generic functions and Supplier Portal functions.
