Coloring

You can configure the coloring of cells in the grid.

Note:

From the menu, select Settings > Coloring.
If you are using the IPW new UI, specify this information:

Item committed

The tooltip displays the name and content for each coloring option. Select a color for the items where decisions have been committed. The items that have not been refreshed in IPW yet are marked with this color.

Select a color for the items where decisions have been committed and refreshed in IPW are marked with this color.

Column value exceeds zero

Select the default coloring for column cells without other assigned colors.

Column value below zero

Select the default coloring for column cells without other assigned colors.

Outstanding MOs exist

Select the color for the first projected OHB cell that contains outstanding MO, if any exists.

Projected OHB is below zero

Select a color for the projected OHB cell that is below zero.

Projected OHB is below safety stock

Select a color for the projected OHB cell that is below safety stock.

Projected OHB exceeds max stock

Select a color for the projected OHB cell that exceeds max stock.

Shelf life threshold

Specify the shelf-life threshold percentage. The OHB cell, together with the Coverage days cell and Coverage days after cells, is displayed with the selected color when the shelf life exceeds the specified value.

Cov time exceeds shelf life threshold

Select a color for the shelf-life threshold.

Sales time threshold

Specify the sales time threshold percentage. The OHB cell, together with the Coverage days cell and Coverage days after cells, is displayed with the selected color when the sales time exceeds the value specified.

Cov time exceeds sales time threshold

Select a color for the sales time threshold.

Coverage time max hours

Specify the maximum coverage time in hours. The OHB cell, together with the Coverage days cell and Coverage days after cells, is displayed with the selected color when the coverage time exceeds the value specified. This is useful if you prefer to avoid too much stock that covers demands for a long period.

Coverage time exceeds max hours

Select a color for the maximum coverage time.

Coverage time min hours

Specify the minimum coverage time in hours. The OHB cell, together with the Coverage days cell and Coverage days after cells, is displayed with the selected color when the coverage time is below the value specified. This is useful if you prefer the stock to cover demands for a shorter period.

Coverage time below min hours

Select a color for the minimum coverage time.

Demand exceeds projected OHB

Select a color for demand that exceeds the projected OHB. The projected OHB cannot cover the full demand for the next bucket, which can result in shortage unless supplies are received early enough in the next bucket.

Forecast fulfillment max percentage

Specify the forecast fulfillment maximum percentage. The Demand cell and Forecast Fulfillment cell are displayed with the selected color when the forecast fulfillment percentage exceeds the value specified.

Forecast fulfillm exceeds max percentage

Select a color for the forecast fulfillment maximum percentage.

Forecast fulfillment min percentage

Specify the forecast fulfillment minimum percentage. The Demand cell and Forecast Fulfillment cell are displayed with the selected color when the forecast fulfillment percentage is below the value specified.

Forecast fulfillm below min percentage

Select a color for the forecast fulfillment minimum percentage.

Supply consists of negative reclassification

Select a color for the first projected OHB cell that contains negative reclassification, if any exists.

Supply consists of orders and pl orders

Select a color for supply cells that contain both released orders and planned orders.

Sup cons of orders only (inc rel pl ors)

Select a color for supply cells that contain only released orders or released planned orders.

Supply consists of firm pl and pl orders

Select a color for supply cells that contain only firm planned orders or planned orders.

Supply consists of firm pl orders only

Select a color for supply cells that contain only firm planned orders.

Bucket column value exceeds zero

Select the default coloring for bucket column cells without other assigned colors.

Bucket column value below zero

Select the default coloring for bucket column cells without other assigned colors.
If you are using the IPW Classic UI, specify this information:

Item colors

Select a color for the item colors.

Column color

Select a color for the additional column that you selected on the Display tab.
Note: The cells are filled with the selected color when the actual value is different from the specified standard value.

Projected on-hand balance colors

Select a color for the projected on-hand balance columns.

Shelf life threshold

Specify the shelf-life threshold percentage and select a color for the cell. The OHB cell is displayed as the selected color when the shelf life exceeds the value specified in this field.

Sales time threshold

Specify the sales time threshold percentage and select a color for the cell. The OHB cell is displayed as the selected color when the sales time exceeds the value specified in this field.

Coverage time exceeding

Specify the coverage time in hours that the coverage time must exceed. Select a color for the cell, which is displayed in the OHB cell if the coverage is below the value specified in this field. If you prefer to avoid too much stock that covers demands for a long period, the color is highlighted when this is not fulfilled.

Coverage time below

Specify the coverage time in hours that the coverage time must be below. Select a color for the cell, which is displayed in the OHB cell if the coverage exceeds the value specified in this field. If you prefer the stock to cover demands for a minimum period, the color is highlighted when this is not fulfilled.

Demand colors

Select a color for demand items.

Forecast fulfillm exceeding

Select a percentage for the maximum forecast fulfillment and a color for the cell. The demand cell is displayed in the selected color when the forecast fulfillment percentage exceeds the value specified in this field.

Forecast fulfillment below

Select a percentage for the minimum forecast fulfillment and a color for the cell. The demand cell is displayed in the selected color when the forecast fulfillment percentage exceeds the value specified in this field.

Supply colors

Select a color for the supply items.

Bucket column color

Select one color if the value exceeds zero and another color if the value is below zero.
Note: The cells are filled with the selected color when the actual value is different from the specified standard value.
Columns that have specific column coloring parameters are not affected by additional bucket coloring. For example, demand, supply, and so on.
Click OK.
