This table shows the basic tools that are available in the application:

Tool Description
Make Group Decisions Opens panel with options to select cells affected and decision. New values after decision are displayed as new values in supply cells.
Create Suggestions Opens panel with options to select from or to bucket and creation method. Supply suggestions are created based on coverage % of demands in buckets. Supply suggestions are displayed as new values in supply cells.
Export to Excel Data is exported to Comma-separated values (.CSV) file and opened in Microsoft Excel.
Enter Decision PIN Code Used to set a PIN code for enabling decisions.
Note: This is only visible if IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405.
Enter Favorite PIN Code Used to set a PIN code for creating shared favorites.
Note: This is only visible if IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405.
Enter Administrator PIN Code Used to set a PIN code for administrator rights.
Note: This is only visible if IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405.
Administrator settings Access requires that user has IPW role IPWADMIN defined in MNS410. In case IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405, then access is only allowed with Administrator PIN code. The default PIN code is IPW.

Gives access to setup:

  • Enter Administrator PIN code (only visible if IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405)
  • Enter Decision PIN code (only visible if IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405)
  • Enter Favorite PIN code (only visible if IPW role IPWADMIN is not defined in MNS405)
  • User division restriction

User division restriction have 3 options:

  • No Restriction
  • No decision
  • Full restriction

Where user restriction to divisions are defined in MNS151 control if user can access data from that division.

Note: 

IPW roles in MNS405 is currently optional.

IPW roles is planned to be mandatory in the future and replace PIN codes.

You can define three IPW roles in MNS405/MNS410:

  • IPWADMIN (access to this menu)
  • IPWPLANNER (enables decision in IPW)
  • IPWVIEWER (enables user to view data in IPW, but not take decision in IPW)
