APIs for processing transactions in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker

The Infor M3 GLT APIs in the API Gateway application process report data from the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker database.

All M3 Graphical Lot Tracker API transactions run asynchronously and follow a consistent processing model:
  • Complete the POST transaction. For example, run Purchased Items per Item Lot to retrieve a jobId.
  • Use the jobId to run the GET transaction, "Status of job", to check the job status. Processing can require additional time to complete.
  • When the job status is Finished, use the jobId to run the GET transaction, "Job results", to retrieve the job results.

If many jobs run concurrently, processing times can increase.

If a job does not finish processing, resubmit the job.

If a transaction fails, the results include detailed error information.

Transaction results are retained for a minimum of five days. The results are deleted automatically after this period. We recommend that you remove the results manually when the results are no longer required.
