Managing a group in the Group panel

You can create, edit, or import a group in the Group panel.
  1. To create a group from the Search panel or from the Trace panel, perform these steps:
    1. Select Groups > New Group from the Search panel result list or from the Trace panel.
    2. Select trace step IDs in the Available column.
    3. Click the Select icon to move the trace step IDs to the Active column.
    4. Specify a name in the Group name field.
    5. Click the Save icon in the command bar.
  2. To remove a trace step ID from the group, perform these steps:
    1. Select the trace step ID to be removed in the Active column.
    2. Click the Move to left arrow to remove the trace step ID in the Active colum
    3. Click the Save icon in the command bar.
  3. To add a single trace step ID that is not displayed in the Current group, perform these operations:
    1. Specify the trace step ID in the text field.
    2. To move the trace step ID to the Active column, click the Select arrow.
    3. Click the Save icon in the command bar.
  4. To import a group to an existing group, perform these steps:
    1. On the Group panel, click the ellipsis icon and select Import.
    2. Select the CSV file saved from its location in the local computer to import.
      Note: The prefix for the group starts with "group-".
    3. Click Open. The group is imported to the Active column of the Group panel.
    4. Click the Save icon in the command bar.
  5. To search for other trace step IDs to add to an existing group, perform these steps:
    1. From the panels, click Search.
    2. Perform a new search.
    3. Click Groups in the search panel results list.
    4. Select the existing group. The new search results are displayed in the Available column.
    5. Select the trace step IDs in the Available column to be added in the existing group.
    6. Click the Select arrow to add the trace step IDs to the Active column.
    7. Click the Save icon in the command bar.
