Trace panel

The Trace panel of M3 Graphical Lot Tracker contains all the information that is available for a trace step. After you have performed a search and clicked the arrow at the start of a row in the search results, the Trace panel is displayed. Depending on how you navigate the trace line, the Trace panel changes focus, moving backward or forward.

Several preconfigured links exist in the Trace Object Description section and on the tabs. Some links are set to display M3 programs, and others to open M3 Graphical Lot Tracker batch lists. Click a link to display the data element in the applicable M3 program, or in a batch list.

Configuration options on Trace panel

The Graphical Lot Tracker administrator can configure the Trace panel:
  1. Include or exclude pre-configured data fields.
  2. Activate or deactivate the pre-configured links in the Trace Object Description section and on the tabs.
  3. Add and configure customized tabs to run M3 API programs for Get, List, Sel (select), or to perform Search Transactions
  4. Add and configure customized links which can open:
    • Search panels in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker
    • Programs in M3
    • List of additional trace details
  5. Add data fields to Trace Object Description, using API
  6. Include or exclude context message entities from M3 Business Engine
