Compare Raw Material Usage

Using this report, you can compare test results and raw material usage for a selected group of manufactured lots. You can identify the differences that are related to poorer or better production results.

This report shows the results of manufacturing orders that are represented by selected steps in a group.

Several lots may be produced from the same manufacturing order. In this case, the raw-material usage is assumed to be shared in the same ratio as the produced quantity.

The report is based on the same logic as the Raw Material Shipped Quantity, and Raw Material Content reports. These reports depend on the same setting, which is .M3REPORT:RMContent_Unit.

To exclude scrap from the report calculations, you can perform one of these steps:
  • For standard manufacturing process, you can exclude scrap from the report calculations by enabling .M3Report:Exclude_Scrap_Calculation in the Application Settings.
  • For complex manufacturing processes such as co-products and by-products, you can exclude scrap from the report calculations by enabling .M3Report:Omit_Scrap_Only and disabling .M3Report:Exclude_Scrap_Calculation in the Application Settings.
