Scenario 1: Initiate integration with Infor Data Lake for a newly deployed tenant

Initial Load has not been performed and the Data Lake Import Settings option is hidden. Trace data is not synchronized with Infor Data Lake.

To enable synchronization of trace data, complete these steps:

In M3 Business Engine, select Menu > Administration Tools > Graphical Lot Tracker Administration.
The application management pages are displayed.

Note: Only users with the IFS role ‘M3 GLT Administrator’ can access the application management pages.
Perform the initial load. See Initial load process.

Note: The full database load may take several hours to complete. The rest of the steps can be finalized, but the transfer to Infor Data Lake does not begin until this is completed.
Select Data Lake Import Settings and specify these configuration options required for the data synchronization:
1. From the Dialog, select one or more tables:
  - Trace table
  - Trace Step table
  - Trace Relation table
2. Click Save to enable synchronization to Data Lake for selected tables. To discard changes, click Cancel.
3. Click Start Import in the Confirmation Dialog to start synchronization for the selected table or tables. To discard changes, click Cancel.
After the Initial load process is completed, synchronization to Infor Data Lake begins. This process can be monitored in System Log panel. The process name is 'pDataLake'.
Go to Data Fabric and validate the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker trace objects:
1. GLT_Trace
2. GLT_TTraceRelation
3. GLT_TTraceStep
