Trace panel

The Trace panel of M3 Graphical Lot Tracker contains all the information that is available for a trace step. After you have performed a search and clicked the arrow at the start of a row in the search results, the Trace panel is displayed. Depending on how you navigate the trace line, the Trace panel changes focus, moving backward or forward.

Note: The M3 Graphical Lot Tracker administrator can access the Panel Settings panel from the System Administration menu. In this panel, the administrator can include and exclude pre-configured fields, rows, and columns in or from the Search and Trace panels, reports, and exports to Microsoft Excel.
The administrator can add customized data to the Trace panel in these ways:
  • Add and configure customized tabs to run M3 API programs for Get, List, Sel (select), or to perform Search Transactions.
  • Add and configure customized links which can open:
    • Search panels in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker
    • Programs in M3
    • List of additional trace details.
The administrator can also include and exclude context message entities from M3 Business Engine.
