Search panels
The availability of the different search panels depends on the configuration of M3 Graphical Lot Tracker defined by the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker administrator in the Application Settings panel. You can use search panels to locate a trace step ID by searching data from M3 Business Engine. This table shows the available panels:
Search panel | Searched objects | Search options |
---|---|---|
Purchase | Trace objects related to purchase orders. | Warehouse, supplier, purchase order number, item number, lot number, lot reference 1, lot reference 2, supplier item number, alias number (EAN, GTIN, UPC or DUN), SSCC number, manufacturer, harvested date and transaction date. |
Production | Trace objects related to manufacturing orders. | Facility, work center, manufacturing order number, product number, lot
number, component number, component lot number, component lot reference
1, component lot reference 2, expiration date, harvested date,
transaction date for component usage, and transaction date for reporting
production to stock. To search for manufacturing orders where back flush has caused negative stock, select the Search 88888888% lots check box. For negative stock, a lot number is created and starts with 888888. To exclude work center details from search result, select the Exclude Work center details check box. |
Stock | Trace objects related to reclassifications, scrapping, and blending. | Warehouse, location, trace step (re-class, scrap or blend), item
number, lot number, transaction reason, and transaction date. Using the new item number and the new lot number, you can also search for reclassified objects. |
Sale | Trace objects related to customer orders. | Warehouse, customer, customer order number, item number, lot number,
sublot reference ID, alias number (EAN, GTIN, UPC, or DUN), shipment,
route, forwarding agent, transportation ID department, SSCC number, lot
expiration date, and transaction date. If different package levels are used by the customer order, select the View all package levels check box. If the application setting .M3SYS:Hide_SSCC_Result is enabled, the SSCC number is excluded from the Sale Search result list. This enables the display of only unique transactions per record. |
Distribution | Trace objects related to distribution orders. | Sending and receiving warehouse, distribution order number, item number, lot number, shipment number, route, forwarding agent, transportation department ID, and transaction date. |
Lot | Trace objects related to a lot number. The search is performed among the From- and To-item fields, and the lot number. |
Item number, lot number, reference sublot ID, lot reference 1, lot reference 2, container, expiration date, harvested date, step name and transaction date. |
Attribute | Trace objects with a combination of attribute values. |
In the M3 Graphical Lot Tracker configuration, you can specify the number of attributes to combine in a search. The default value is 5. In addition to attribute values, searches are performed with this information: warehouse, item number, and transaction date. (Attribute Details are also displayed in the Raw Material Content report.) |
