Adding and configuring customized links

When the application setting .INTERFACE:ADMIN_BOOKMARK is enabled, you can specify the Add link field in the System Administration > Panel Settings panel to add customized links.

The link name is added to the System Administration > Application Localization list for the user to translate to the other languages.

You can configure a customized link to be displayed in the Search Results, Trace Object Description, Standard Tabs, or Reports.

You can configure a customized link to perform one of these options:
  • To open a search page in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker
  • To open a program in M3
  • To open a list with additional trace details

If you create the customized link to open a search page in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker, the link can be configured to insert certain search attributes. You can customize the Field heading and the Value field.

The customized links options to open a search page in M3 Graphical Lot Tracker and to open a program in M3 can be edited in the Panel Settings panel using the Edit link button. The customized link option to open a list with additional trace details can be edited in the API Interface Configuration panel.

Note: When the customized link is set up with a parameter connected to a GLT field, ensure that the corresponding GLT field has the Include check-box checked in the Panel Settings object.
