Adding a customized tab – example for Get/List/Sel transactions

The example describes the creation of a customized tab with specified 'Package_Details' in the Tab name field and specified 'Customer' in the Step field in the API Interface Configuration panel.

  1. Click Add new configuration icon in the System Administration > API Interface Configuration.
  2. Select 'Customer' in the Step field.
  3. Select 'MWS423MI-Package Interface' in the API program field.
  4. Select 'LstPackDel-List packages by delivery' in the Transaction field.
  5. Specify 'Package_Details' in the Tab name field.
  6. On the API Input Configuration tab, specify 'DLIX' in the Field column, and select 'Delivery no. – ACO050_CO_Delivery' in the GLT Field column.
  7. Click the API Output Configuration tab.
  8. Select the required check boxes in the Selected column, for example: CONO, DLIX, PANR, SSCC, or PAII.
  9. Click the Save icon to create the API Interface Configuration.

Results:

  1. The value .INTERFACE:TABS_Customer_Package_Details is generated in the Key column in the Application Settings panel.
    Note: The name of the key consists of the prefix .INTERFACE:TABS, followed by the name from the Step field and Tab name field.
  2. Access per user group is established.
  3. The value CUSTOMER_PACKAGE_DETAILS is generated in the Key column in the Application Localization panel.
    Note: The name of the key consists of the name from the Step field and the Tab name field.
  4. The value ‘Package_Details’ is generated in the Value column.
    Note: Changing the text in the Value column re-names the displayed text value on the customized tab.
  5. A custom tab with the name ‘Package_Details’ appears in the Customer Trace panel.
